If they get a newborn why in the world do they not have a list of people who would be happy to foster instead of putting them down?? Plenty of people would offer to nurse a newborn back to health..this is infuriating!

Because there isn’t enough people. It is incredibly difficult to find people who are able to put forth the effort needed to take care of neonatal kittens. Newborns have to be fed every 2-3 hours, and cleaned after constantly. Additionally, there are more often than not health problems that arise. Keeping them alive is not easy. Most people can’t dedicate that much of their lives. Additionally, it is very emotionally draining.
But PLEASE, if you have it in you, contact a rescue group and volunteer yourself. Last Chance Animal Rescue’s Bottle Baby Project is a good place to start if you are in the DC/Baltimore area.

I don’t know about this little kitten – but there are plenty of bottle babies that need to be adopted. You live in Baltimore – contact a rescue. Last Chance Animal Rescue’s Bottle Baby Project is the one I work with and I know they rescue from the Baltimore shelter.

Yeah and his mom probably came back wondering where the fuck her kittens were. News flash. 90% of all “abandoned kittens” are not abandoned, in fact, their mom is most likely within earshot.

Sorry, but euthanizing homeless kittens and puppies is absolutely unforgivable! People who do this, who work in these shitholes called shelters, that actually kill healthy but homeless kittens and puppies need their fucking arms and legs broken!

Adorable kitty, I rescued a week old baby, she was covered in fleas, she lived inside my jumper, slept with me and when she got cat flu I nursed her and fed het. She survived and is now the most adorable and loving little (well maybe fat) cat. It was worth every bit of hard work.

So this seems a little like a fear campaign I have never known a shelter that just puts new bit a down right of the bat they usually try to find a foster either another mama or human mama or dad I am 100o/o for animals and animal care and rights but I am also sick to death of ppl trying to make up stories to further Their cause. There are enough atrocities out here and fears and hurtful crap that we don’t need extra and I really hope this is not another one happy kitten is thriving but story seems so what contrived

Look at that beautiful bundle of joy. Those who put down any animal have no heart. It needs to be illegal in all 50 states. They deserve a chance at life. I’m happy he was rescued.
