Strong odors coming from a home in Philadelphia gave neighbors concern that something was not quite right in the home. A call to the SPCA resulted in a search warrant and the ultimate rescue of 15 cats from the property. News Video below.
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — 15 live cats were rescued from a home in South Philadelphia on Thursday according to the Pennsylvania SPCA. The organization says that the home had committed several violations including unsanitary confinement.
One deceased cat was also removed from the property.
The home located at 4th and Figel streets was searched by Humane Law Enforcement officers. The cats were found living in unsanitary conditions which included feces and urine present throughout the home according to officials.
